OUR AMAZING SPONSORS

(June 2008): Awards For All
Herts Baseball Club is grateful and honoured to be the beneficiaries of a generous £10,000 national grant from Awards For All. The funds will be used to construct a permanent outfield fence and level a new, second baseball diamond at Grovehill Ballpark.

(May 2008): Beer & Food Festival Sponsors
Several businesses contributed generously to this special fundraising event. Tesco (Hemel Hempstead), Asda (Hemel Hempstead), Waitrose (Berkhamsted), and Altered Image hair salon (Berkhamsted) all provided exciting raffle prizes for the festival attendees.

(Mar 2008): Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have once again offered a generous contribution to Herts Baseball as part of RBS’ Community Cashback Awards Programme.

(Mar 2008): Scotthall Watford MINI have made a generous contribution to our youth programme, and are now the official sponsor of Herts Little League.

(Jan 2008): Scotthall Watford BMW has joined our All-Star Sponsor platoon as a significant contributor to the HBC Development Fund and our 2008-09 Field Development Project. Join us in applauding their commitment to local youth and the growth of baseball in the UK.

(Nov 2007): Herts Baseball Club is pleased to announce that a very generous award has been received from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). The award was made as part of the RBS Community Cashback Awards programme which makes financial contiribution to community groups, schools and charities where RBS staff are already making important contribution in their own time.

The Herts Baseball Club is dependent on the support of its members, their families, friends and fans. It is only with their encouragement that we are able to continue to build the best baseball program in the UK.

In 2008 and 2009, our most significant Club goals include:

  1. Expansion of the Herts Little League, offering a unique and positive experience for Hertfordshire youngsters.
We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn the game of baseball and develop their skills and team spirit.

  2. Development of a second baseball diamond at Grovehill Playing Fields.
With an ever-expanding adult squad and a burgeoning youth programme, Herts Baseball Club has taken out a new land lease. Diamond 2 will live just next door to our quality first-field, but much work remains to be done. We must level the surface, develop a dirt infield, and build a quality backstop.

  3. Creation of a permanent outfield fence for Diamonds 1 and 2.
With your support - and the aid of Herts County Council - we are in the midst of building one of the finest base complexes in the country. A permanent, durable outfield wall will be built for both fields at Grovehill Ballpark. Our original blueprint allows for two adult games or six youth games to be played simultaneously at the same venue. No other baseball organisation in the UK can offer such a 'festival' experience to its members.

These projects are aimed specifically at improving the community and helping the youth in Hertfordshire achieve greatness... both on and off the field.

Please help us to achieve these important goals. Donate now! No contribution is too small.
