SERIES COMMISSIONER: Jason Greenberg
UMPIRE CREW CHIEF: Geoff Hare, ABUA-GB

DRAFT PROCEDURES

  1. The three team managers will draft players in turn.

  2. The draft order will be randomly determined by the Series Commissioner.

  3. Each draft round comprises a single selection by each of the three managers.

PLAYER MOVEMENT REGULATIONS

Trades between teams are permitted at any point between the end of the Official Draft and the end of play on October 4th.

Certain trade-related restrictions apply:

  1. Players cannot be released, or tendered as free agents.

  2. The maximum number of players that can be traded for any single prospect is 3.

  3. Any team that fails to appear on game day with 9 players will be forced to trade-up (swap a single player for multiple prospects) in order to fill their bench.

  4. All trades must be announced to the League Commissioner within 2 hours of agreement and are subject to approval.

  5. Trade waivers are obtained when:
    • a manager trades two players for a single prospect (1 waiver);
    • a manager trades three players for a single prospect (2 waivers);
    • a manager trades three players for two prospects (1 waiver);
    • a manager is deprived of a pick in the final, enhanced draft round (1 waiver).

  6. Trade waivers can be exchanged for free agents, and all waiver-claims must be approved by the Commissioner.

GAME RULES

  1. Games shall be 7-innings or 2-hours in length, whichever elapses first. The game will end only in the bottom-half of the inning and no new inning shall be started with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game. In the case of a tie, a draw is awarded to each team and their runs scored/allowed are adjusted accordingly.

  2. Final standings shall be based on team win/loss records. In the case of a tie, finalists will advance based on the head-to-head record of the tied teams. If still tied, the determinant is the differential of runs scored/allowed.

  3. No pitcher may complete more than three innings in any game.

  4. Wood bats must be used.

  5. 'Rolling' substitutions are not permitted.

  6. Designated Hitter shall be allowed and MLB DH rules apply.

  7. At the start of every game the 'bench' manager (captain of whichever squad is not competing at that time) will inform both managers at what time the game will stop. This 'third' manager will be the official timekeeper for all games.

  8. Protests are not permitted.

FIELD SETUP / TAKEDOWN

All three teams shall arrive at the report time (9am) to help with the field setup and takedown.

SCORERS

The 'bench' team (or 'third' team that is not in active play) will keep the official score and have the official ruling as to hits, errors, etc.
